I hope that you never unfastened your seatbelts as we are moving at
nothing less than warp speed. We have now moved through 5 of the 6 powerful
eclipses of 2009!
How did you fare with the 7/21 TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE IN CANCER? Did everything look a little different to you? Are you continuing to manifest and expand at increasing velocity? What have you transmuted in terms of old behavior patterns, emotional paradigms and old ways of relating to others and the world?
REMEMBER -- The faster we
are able to embrace what we’re "not too comfortable with" within ourselves
the sooner we will be presented with more powerful horizons, possibilities and
greater heights. I am reminding
myself of this as I have had some truly uncomfortable days lately, alternating
with amazing and awesome beauty and greater levels of Self-love and
Self-nurturing. Moving
through to the awareness presenting itself has been profound and life
changing. Are you treating yourself with love and nurturing as you progress through this time?
The currently awesome eclipse cycle we are going through with 6 eclipses this year (extremely rare) is an unbelievable opportunity! These Eclipses are indeed “inertia busters” and are helping open us and move us forward despite the ever-decreasing protests of our “smaller selves.”
As the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE PEAKED IN THE LAST DEGREE OF THE SIGN OF CANCER (29 degrees) at 7:35 p.m. PDT on 7/21 we were reminded to be aware of what we were focusing our minds on. WE ARE MANIFESTING WHATEVER WE ARE THINKING ABOUT -- WHETHER DELIBERATE OR HABITUAL THOUGHTS) AS THE REALITY THAT IS INSIDE OF YOUR HEAD, ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS PARTICULAR ECLIPSE, WILL AFFECT THE REALITY YOU EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE YOURSELF FOR A VERY LONG TIME DUE TO THE INCREDIBLE POWER OF THIS EVENT.
I am summarizing the
above eclipse due to
it’s unusual power and the fact that the effects will be
felt by each of us for approximately 6 months, the peak being about 3 months from
now.
In a SOLAR ECLIPSE, which this was, the Sun is blocked (solar energy tends to be more objective) and with the lunar energy (the more subjective) you were invited to allow your feelings and your feeling nature to come to the fore. Both the Sun and Moon were in the sign of Cancer, the archetype of the Great Mother involved with the creation, nurturance and protection of life. Cancer is a Cardinal water sign and is most at home in the realm of subjectivity, imagination and feelings, understanding and compassion. In this eclipse, WE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTERNALIZE REALITY AS EXPERIENCED IN THE MOMENT, FROM SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE, without the influence of the Solar, or more objective reality -- i.e. WHAT WE FEEL ABOUT SOMETHING? Self-judgment of any kind that was normally there was put at bey for the moment to take advantage of this precious time. This was a prime opportunity to CHOOSE TO LET THE JUDGMENT GO AND FEEL INTO THE SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE OF BEING OURSELVES -- even if some of the feeling was unpleasant it was only a cue that some processing/healing work was ready to be done – not a cue to stop tuning in and staying away from that area or feeling, etc.
This eclipse was a sort of “cosmic reboot.” WE HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY OF ALLOWING PARTS, OR ALL, OF OUR OLD “LITTLE SELVES” TO FALL AWAY AND A NEW SELF TO BE BORN WITHIN THE SAME BODY. One astrologer I know has described it as like getting two incarnation of growth within the same lifetime!
There was and is some aspect of Cancerian nurturing in our lives that needed some feeling into and that needed some feeling attention focused on it, perhaps having to do with DOING FOR OURSELVES WHAT PART OF US HAS BEEN WAITING FOR OTHERS OR ANOTHER TO DO.
Cancer has to do with our history, our roots, both the familial and the deep emotional roots within us. THE OPPORTUNITY THAT WAS PRESENTED AND THAT IS STILL ONGOING IS KNOWING THAT YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR HISTORY AND THE SUM OF YOUR EXPERIENCES. THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED WAS TO BRING YOUR FEELING NATURE/EMOTIONAL BODY BACK ONLINE AND THIS ECLIPSE WAS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO INITIATE THE MOMENTUM OF DOING JUST THAT!
Many home, family and marital structures were permanently altered as a result – some terminated, some deepened, and some set in motion.
The Male and Female – Mommy and Daddy are united at last inside each one of us. This process has been building for months and is now settling into our emotional cores. WE ARE TRULY EMBRACING OUR OWN RIGHT, NEED AND RESPONSIBILITY TO NURTURE OURSELVES FIRST AND FOREMOST.
WE ARE INTERACTING DIFFERENTLY WITH EACH OTHER, PARTICULARLY IN MALE/FEMALE PAIRING, THAN WE HAVE EVER BEFORE.
URANUS, “The Awakener,” the lightning bolt, and Pluto, the Transformer,
aspecting and participating strongly in the 7/21 Eclipse have greatly added to it’s power.
REMEMBER -- AN ECLIPSE IS AN INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY -- AN “INERTIA BUSTER” AND THIS ONE HAD THE POTENTIAL TO CHANGE THINGS MORE THAN MOST!

A GOOD PART OF THE ENERGY OF THIS ECLIPSE INVOLVED A FURTHER BALANCING OF THE DIVINE FEMININE AND THE SACRED MASCULINE LEADING TO CO-CREATING A NEW EARTH TOGETHER AND THIS IS NO SMALL THING!!!
We have just moved through another significant Lunar Eclipse on August 5-6 in Aquarius. Aquarius is the rebel against the conventions and rigid rules of society. He is the visionary and role model for new ways to live and reach for new horizons. Aquarius starts revolutions, teams up with like-minded people and really wants to change the world to a better place. The questions to be asking yourself were: “Where do I need to shine my light? Where do I need to link up with more like-minded souls? Both Pluto and Uranus aspected this eclipse challenging us to think out of the box and let go of what is no longer relevant or useful in our lives. They also squared each other, so their effect was heightened and this occurs only every 60 years or so.

would highly recommend setting
intentions during this New Moon as they will influence the next long
stretch of your life -- the next
year for certain, and to an extent the next 18 or 19 years as
well.
Both the Sun and Moon are in a growth aspect to both
Mercury and Mars so it’s the most natural thing for you to truly “WALK YOUR TALK
TO THE FULLEST!”
Talk as if – act as
if and you will truly be
able to bask in the possibility of being all that you can be. Now is the time to act. On
Sunday the Sun moves into Virgo and we will have a good month to be more
self-evaluating, discriminating and mentally oriented. LET YOUR “INNER CHILD” EXPRESS ITSELF AS FULLY AS
POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!
Seriously -- take some time right now to reflect on your childhood dreams, your deepest longings, your “Bucket List.” Ask yourself: “WHAT DO I WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING?”
This New Moon in Leo is opposed by Neptune so the confusion we have been under for some time is beginning to clear. Also – during this New Moon Uranus is opposed to Mercury and Saturn so some unexpected news may come to you and you may be challenged to make new plans. Along with the opposition from Neptune we will have a greater ability to capture and communicate unseen feelings and emotions – within ourselves and others and it is a great time to call forth ideas and visions and create them in physical form. Take precautions with your health as with Neptune our psyches and bodies are more susceptible to alcohol and judgment may be clouded.
This NEW Moon is made much more potent by the formation of a very powerful Grand Cross generating three oppositions and six squares DEMANDING REAL CHANGE IN OUR LIVES – mere lip service won’t do it at all! There is an incredible opportunity to ACT IN THE INTEREST OF THE GREATER GOOD AND TO TAP INTO A LIMITLESS FUEL LINE OF INSPIRATION as this New Moon in Leo opposes not only Neptune but Jupiter and Chiron all in Aquarius. We can channel our incredible Leonian creativity for the good of all!!!
Of course, this New Moon will affect us all but it depends on how it affects your own individual birthchart as to the specific opportunity you are presented with.
