Be Careful What you Fear -- You Just May Get it!
China and the Olympics are a case in point that is right in all our faces. China so wants to look good in the eyes of the world, and fears looking bad. They fear looking bad so much that they told their drummers to smile while drumming in the opening ceremonies. This led Bob Costas to comment about how the smiles took the edge off the power of the drumming. And it certainly did. The focus and presence required to accomplish the synchronicity of their performance seemed in direct opposition to these smiling faces.
Telling the drummers to smile led to millions of people becoming aware of China's concern about how the drummers made them look. It also showed us what standards the Chinese "powers that be" were using. To me the opening Ceremonies where fabulous and beautiful and full of creative genius and I've been a fan of Opening Ceremonies since our own LA wowed the world in 1984. I have some history with Opening Ceremonies. This one was truly great. To me, that greatness has only been dimmed a tad by the Chinese's desperation to control everything and match their own image of what it means to look good.
An attractive little Chinese girl with a fabulous voice was selected to sing the national anthem. She was a cute little girl, only she had a baby tooth missing or something like that. I looked at her photo and thought she was adorable. But someone in power thought maybe she didn't look good enough. So they found a more beautiful little girl who was a seasoned child actress to lip sync the part. And what happened? The opening Ceremonies had the whole world talking about the little girl's voice. She was an immediate star. She was wanted for singing contracts. Only the one on TV who was lip syncing couldn't sing. So the whole story was made public across the world, showcasing just how up-tight China is about appearances.
In July they did a public execution to scare terrorists and criminals and to increase security for the games. And, on the second day of the Olympics an American was attacked and murdered bringing world-wide publicity to China even though they have very few foreigners attacked.
Much was done to manipulate the air quality including shutting down 30% of industrial production and taking 2 million cars off the roads. And, in the end, the whole world saw a very polluted Beijing on August 8 and 9. Turned out, whether or not the air cleared depended on which way the wind blew and whether or not it rained. It was reported that Chinese scientists were going to tamper with the weather to keep the downpours away from the Olympics. And yet, it was one of those downpours that was responsible for cleaning the air. Today the air quality is in the good range. But, not before China's attempts to protect its "bad air" image were aired before the whole world. Not to mention all the publicity they've gotten for their lack of environmental awareness.
Watch out what you wish for, you may get it. Watch out what you are afraid of, it may already be in your life or you just may get it.
What I've found in my own life is that if I am afraid of something, it's probably already in my life. I am just so trying to prevent it that I've not noticed.
One example: I've done a lot of work on myself around abundance. Several months ago I realized I was afraid of having a lot of money because if I had a lot of money then people would be pulling at me all the time and I'd feel overwhelmed and stressed out. Then, I noticed that I was already overwhelmed and stressed out. I used Theta Healing to clear that and now experience my life as having a greater ease and flow to it. It is rare/seldom/if ever that I feel pulled at these days. Yeah!
Another example: Recently I worked with a man who had an ambitious plan for the future. He was fully capable of accomplishing it. In our work I asked him what was the worst thing that would happen if he did accomplish it. He replied that he'd be overworked and not have any time to play. When I asked about now, he admitted that he was already overworked and didn't have the time he wanted to play. We used Theta Healing to change that so he could accomplish his goals, without being overworked. ThetaHealing was also used to show him how to and what it feels like to keep work and play in balance while accomplishing his future goals.
Another example. I worked with a woman who was afraid to be successful because she would be over-committed and disappoint the people around her. If you guessed that she was already feeling over-committed, you'd be correct.
What we fear, try to avoid, attempt to hide -- seems like that energy just shows up.
Theta Healing is such a fantastic lifetool for erasing, changing and modifying the things we fear so they get eliminated from our present life and as obstacles for what we desire. When they are no longer present in our lives neither are the consequences of the fears. Do you have fears you'd like to let go of?
Now is a great time. I have an August Special. Single personal private ThetaHealing sessions are reduced to $80.00 for the month of August. This is a great savings because my usual price is $125.00 per private session. One of my sessions goes from 60 to 75 minutes. And if you purchase a package you receive 4 sessions for the price of 3. There is, however, a limit of two of these packages per person.
